About Our Team
Preserving regional culture and creating accessible tools through modern, high-performance mobile software.
Our Brand Story
The brand name Borluit is derived from the ancient, colloquial name for the mighty Brahmaputra River in Assam, India. The river stands as a symbol of life, flow, strength, and cultural unity. Similarly, Borluit.tech was established to serve as a digital lifeline for regional language tools, study resources, and utilities in northeastern India.
We noticed that regional languages and localized requirements were often neglected by massive global applications. Basic scripts like Assamese suffered from broken rendering, lack of next-word predictions, and poor offline dictionary utilities. Our engineers set out to solve this, starting with custom keyboard layouts and translation engines.
Today, our software suite covers dictionary lookups, news TV streams, classic folklore (Burhi Aair Xadhu), and competitive guides. We focus on lightweight, offline configurations that load instantaneously on devices of all ranges, serving students, job candidates, and language enthusiasts.
Our Mission
"To design digital resources that bridge regional communication gaps, preserve Assamese heritage, and guarantee user privacy through local-first mobile engineering."
Engineering Standards
Our Core Values
Regional Inclusivity
We prioritize script localization, ensuring typing systems, dictionaries, and news readers render correctly and load fast for Assamese, Bodo, and English.
Absolute Privacy
We believe you should not sacrifice private data to use simple tools. Our keyboards and translation dictionaries run offline to prevent telemetry logs.
Offline Independence
Northeastern India includes deep remote regions. We write local databases and query parsers so our applications work perfectly without cell towers.
Mobile & Web Technology Stack
We rely on stable, production-tested libraries to maintain tiny binary sizes and instant load times.
